A presidential statement stated: "The President of the Republic received the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Bratislav Jijel, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Anel Bora Inan, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ridwan Hersi Muhammad, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Malawi, Yunus Abdul Karim, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, Tsilani Mokoena, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Kozred Rencilj, and the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Georgia, Archil Dozliashvili, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Hussein Bahr al-Ulum."
He added, "During the meetings held with the Ambassadors individually, the bilateral relations between Iraq and their countries were discussed, where the President of the Republic stressed that Iraq's foreign policy is based on mutual respect and adopting constructive dialogue to strengthen relations and expand their horizons in accordance with common interests and in the interest of the peoples, wishing the new Ambassadors success in performing their duties."
For their part, the Ambassadors thanked the President for receiving them, expressing their countries' aspiration to strengthen relations with Iraq and develop them at various levels, stressing their determination to make all necessary efforts in this path. / End
