Hilla / NINA /- Unidentified gunmen riding vehicles kidnapped the leader, the monitoring media official in the Sadrist movement, in the Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla, Ayser Al-Khafaji, from his home and took him to an unknown destination.
The media Director of the Sadrist movement’s office in Babylon, Muhammad al-Shammari, said, “Unidentified gunmen kidnapped Ayser al-Khafaji, a leader in the Sadrist movement, in the Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla, on Sunday, and took him to an unknown destination.”
He added that the police opened an investigation into the incident and launched a campaign to track down the perpetrators./End
