Baghdad / NINA / - The security forces found an explosive device placed on the highway in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate.
The Security Media Cell said in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: "The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency found an improvised explosive device near Sumar district in Diwaniyah, and it was intended to target the logistical support convoys of the international coalition."
It added, "A detachment from the Explosives Control Department defused the device without causalities."/End
