Baghdad / NINA /- The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced on Friday operating four lines to product face masks to supply the health personnel and citizens.

The director of the technical department in the ministry, Nasser Idris Al-Husseini said in a press statement that "four lines for producing masks had been activated, noting that "the ministry is seeking, through its specialized factories, to increase the production capacity of face masks to provide health personnel and citizens with them."

He explained that the Ministry "is working to develop the production of materials that are used in the prevention of coronavirus, such as sterilization, sterilizers, and masks," noting that "the Ministry's companies are working to increase the production capacities of these materials, after they have proven successful during the Coronavirus crisis." / End
