Speaking at the Iraq Energy Conference 2019, Joe Keizer said, "The Company has a strong relationship with Iraq that has lasted for more than 80 years, and this country has gone through difficult times and people here deserve peace, freedom and a better life. The government laid the foundations for this when we see it firmly fighting terrorism, and open economic growth through an ambitious reform program "These are measures for rapid economic reconstruction, support for human resources and job creation."
He announced the signing of an agreement to rebuild the Baiji power plant, which is important in the heart of the liberated region.
"Siemens is helping Iraq and is aiming for a much stronger partnership than before to build power plants, extract gas, create jobs and nurture innovations," he added.
He added that the company will not take one dollar of the profit it makes in Iraq, but spent in the service of this country, and aims to recruit more than a thousand Iraqi workers, and our goal is to reach the power of up to 14 thousand and 400 MW in the next two years.
He added: "We are seeking to develop the health system in Iraq by equipping it with the latest health equipment and we have helped 10,000 patients to get the medicine."
He continued: We have the great honor to be with you today to develop Iraq's economic future and create jobs for future generations./ End
