The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement today, Sunday, that a group of PKK militants opened fire on a site of one of the Turkish army units charged with the Claw Lock operations in northern Iraq, and after an exchange of fire, the soldiers of that unit were able to kill 8 of the militants, while the rest of the members of the armed group fled.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today the killing of one of its soldiers and the injury of another in an attack by militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party in Claw Lock operations area in northern Iraq.
