Istanbul / NINA / - Turkish intelligence announced the killing of two leaders of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in a security operation it carried out in northern Iraq.
The Turkish intelligence stated in a media report today that the so-called, Pesdar Omid, a leading figure in the PKK and the other leader called, Sirzan Mava were followed up in the light of prior intelligence information and after they settled in Zab region in northern Iraq, they were killed by a group of intelligence, where a body of Sirzan Mava was found after taking refuge in a cave as a result of his injury.
It indicated that the so-called "Sirzan Mava" was responsible for contacts between members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the Zab region./ End
