Hilla / NINA / - Demonstrators blocked the road linking Babylon with the southern governorates, near the Shomali district, in protest against the passage of the election law in the House of Representatives.
The correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) said: "Dozens of demonstrators blocked the road and burned tires, in protest against the passage of the amendment to the election law and the reinstatement of the provincial councils."
He added: "The demonstrators announced that the MPs who voted for the law were not allowed to enter the governorate."/ End
