In a statement, it rejected: Any step taken in the absence of representatives of the Turkmen component to prejudice the present and future of Kirkuk governorate, or to compromise on its security situation, or any change affecting its administrative status for partisan interests and political gains without guaranteeing the rights of Turkmen component.
It added: It seemed clear, from the first day of the negotiations to form the State Administration Coalition, that there is a political will to weaken the role of the Turkmen component, whether by not inviting the Turkmen to meetings to form the coalition, or by making concessions to the two Kurdish parties, especially with regard to the Kirkuk file and Article 140, or by marginalizing the component by not assigning any ministerial position in the government.
It made it clear: We are surprised by the silence of the three presidencies due to this marginalization that is taking place against the Turkmen, and we call on them to exercise their role that the Iraqi constitution has assigned to them to preserve national cohesion and achieve balance.
It called on the leaders of the blocs who hold their meetings in the absence of the Turkmen component, not to forget the pure blood that the Turkmen offered throughout the history of the Iraqi state to preserve the unity of Iraq and purify it from the terrorist gangs of ISIS...Long live unified Iraq...Long live the Turkmen./ End
