In a tripartite summit held with the participation of His Majesty King Abdullah II and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Sunday in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the President pointed to the need for permanent dialogue with brothers and friends to prevent tensions and dismantle crises before they occur.
The outcome of the tripartite summit stressed the redoubling of the efforts pushing for peace and dialogue, in order to calm the whole region, where the parties pointed out that security is common, and that security threats and gaps would include everyone.
The leaders also stressed the need to build on the recent victories in the battle against terrorism, and the need to completely eliminate all terrorist organizations wherever they exist, and to confront all those who support them politically, financially or media, and reiterate their full support for the Iraqi efforts to complete the reconstruction and return of displaced people to the liberated areas.
The leaders also stressed the importance of a comprehensive political solution to the crises in the region, especially those in Syria, Libya and Yemen, in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions, in a manner that preserves the unity, independence, and territorial integrity, and preserve the Arab national security and countering external interventions aimed at destabilizing Arab national security. / End
