Baghdad/NINA/- Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced today, Monday, the martyrdom of its commander in Lebanon following an Israeli attack on Beirut.
A statement issued by the Brigades said, "With the highest expressions of pride and honor, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announces to our steadfast Palestinian people and to the Arab and Islamic nations the martyrdom of the commander in Al-Quds Brigades, Adham Adnan Al-Othman 'Abu Hamza,' the commander of Al-Quds Brigades in Lebanon."
It added, "The commander was martyred as a result of the treacherous Israeli aggression that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut at dawn today."
"We in the Al-Quds Brigades, as we mourn a distinguished leader who humiliated the enemy and had a long history of confronting the Zionist entity, pledge to God that the pure blood that was shed will be a guiding light for thousands of fighters who will avenge him and uphold his legacy. We affirm that we will remain on the path of jihad and resistance until liberation and return."/ End
