Amara / NINA / - The Maysan Governorate Police Command announced that detachments from Al-Maymouna District Police Department arrested three suspects wanted by the judiciary. One was arrested under Article (430) related to the crime of threats, and the other two under Article Four of the Counter-Terrorism Law.
The Command stated in a press release that "the arrests were part of organized security efforts based on precise intelligence and intensive field surveillance, aimed at enforcing the rule of law and enhancing security and stability in the district."
It added that the necessary legal procedures were taken against the suspects, and they were referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigations.
