Baghdad (NINA) - The Anti-Terrorism Service announced the arrest of the so-called “financial officer” of ISIS gangs in Iraq.
A statement by the agency stated that: “With a qualitative intelligence effort, which included monitoring and tracking operations, the Anti-Terrorism Service was able to arrest the so-called financial official at (Islamic State Central) after he entered Iraq with forged travel documents to resume his terrorist activity in Iraq.”
It stressed: “The intelligence effort of the Anti-Terrorism Service continues the operations of dismantling and destroying the remnants of ISIS gang networks and thwarting their terrorist plans so that our Iraq can enjoy security and stability.”/End
