Baquba / NINA / - Unidentified gunmen assassinated a farmer in al-Waqf Basin orchards in Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "unidentified gunmen assassinated a 32-year-old farmer by shooting him while he was near al-Waqf Basin orchards near the Diyala River, northeast of Baquba.
He added that the body was transferred to the forensic medicine department, while the security services opened an investigation into the incident./End
