Baghdad /NINA/ -The Iraqi National Olympic Committee announced that it has received an official letter from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) confirming its financial support for the Iraqi Olympic Committee.
The IOC confirmed in a statement: "The financial support provided to the Iraqi Olympic Committee through the Olympic Solidarity programs is ongoing and will not be interrupted."
It explained that "this confirmation comes within the framework of the IOC's commitment to supporting national federations and strengthening programs for developing athletes and sports infrastructure in Iraq, which contributes to advancing the Iraqi Olympic system and ensuring the sustainability of its technical and administrative projects."/End
