During his meeting, Sunday evening, with the family of the martyred hero Harith Abdul Ali Al-Sudani, who managed to infiltrate the terrorist ISIS gangs, and with a select group of the cast of the TV series "Al-Naqeeb," which depicted the martyr's life story—including the series' hero, writer, and director—and the TV Drama Support Grant Committee, Al-Sudani pointed to the state's role in highlighting the heroism and injustices of Iraqis, both before 2003, during their fight against dictatorship, and afterward, in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
He emphasized the need to continue documenting the heroic deeds of Iraqis and the stories of members of the security forces and presenting them to future generations, and that the TV series "Al-Naqeeb" be the launching pad for systematic work documenting such heroic deeds, of which we are proud.
The Prime Minister, according to a statement by his media office, praised the work of the Drama Support Grant Committee and the crew of the series (Al-Naqeeb) for their professional role in producing this work, stressing the government’s keenness to preserve the sacrifices of Iraqis of all sects and components, through building the state, enhancing economic development, and establishing security and stability throughout our beloved country. /End
