Baghdad /NINA/- The Arab Six-Party Meeting in Cairo affirmed its rejection of the displacement of Palestinians and its support for the implementation of the Gaza agreement in all its stages, noting that it looks forward to working with the administration of US President Donald Trump to achieve the two-state solution.

The meeting stressed its support for the efforts made by the three countries (Egypt, Qatar and US) to ensure the implementation of the agreement in all its stages and provisions, leading to complete calm, and emphasizing the importance of sustaining the ceasefire. This ensures the delivery of humanitarian support to all parts of the Gaza Strip and the removal of all obstacles to the entry of all humanitarian and shelter aid and recovery and rehabilitation requirements.

The Arab Six-Party Meeting affirmed its rejection of any attempt to limit the role of UNRWA, the importance of implementing a comprehensive process to rebuild Gaza, calling on the international community and the Security Council to implement the two-state solution, and rejecting any attempt to divide the Gaza Strip, stressing the need for Israel to withdraw from Gaza.

In turn, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said that the Cairo meeting discussed the continuation of the ceasefire in Gaza, and discussed enabling the Palestinian Authority to carry out its duties, discussing the safe return of the displaced in Gaza to their homes, and delivering more aid to Gaza.

The consultative meeting of the Arab Six on Palestine was launched in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where it discussed developments in the region and the establishment of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The meeting comes days after US President Donald Trump proposed transferring the Palestinians of Gaza to neighboring countries, such as Egypt and Jordan, which was rejected by these two countries, and other Arab and international parties./End
