Iraqi Airways to resume direct flights to Beijing starting November 14
Baghdad/NINA/—Iraqi Airways has announced the resumption of its direct flights to the People's Republic of China, operating via the (Baghdad – Basra – Beijing) route, effective November 14. The service will run twice weekly, with outbound flights scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays, and return flights for Sundays and Wednesdays.
In a statement, the company’s Director General, Mustafa Talib, confirmed that this move aligns with the directives of Minister of Transport Wahab Al-Hasani to expand the national carrier’s international network.
The initiative aims to open new air routes of economic and commercial significance, providing direct travel options for passengers and facilitating movement and exchange between Iraq and other countries worldwide. /End
