Baghdad/NINA/ – The Wasit Criminal Court has issued two ten-year prison sentences—to be served consecutively—against a woman convicted of the crime of embezzling funds.
In a statement, the court noted that the convicted individual, acting in collusion with other defendants, embezzled money from the accounts of Al-Zahra Teaching Hospital. The sentences were handed down in accordance with Article 315 (second part) of the Penal Code, read in conjunction with Articles 47, 48, and 49, which pertain to complicity. /End
