Basra / NINA / -The "Ajyal Al-Rafidain" (Generations of Mesopotamia) Foundation for Educational Development, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Education in Basra and under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Abdul-Karim Abtan Al-Jubouri, held the 3rd International Scientific Conference on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence in Education and Scientific Research. The conference was titled: "Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence in Building Education, Pedagogy, and Scientific Research Systems: Interdisciplinary Perspectives Toward a Sustainable Future."

The conference, which took place in the Basra Governorate Council hall, saw the participation of the Department of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Sulaymaniyah, the Duhok Polytechnic University, and the "Wa'i" (Awareness) Center for Consulting and Capacity Building.

The opening of the conference was attended by the Chairman of the Basra Governorate Council, Khalaf Al-Badran; the Administrative Deputy to the Governor of Basra, Maher Al-Amiri; several members of the Governorate Council; the Director General of Education in Basra, Abdul-Razzaq Faisal Abdul-Hamid; the Executive Director of the Ajyal Al-Rafidain Foundation, Dr. Ali Aboudi Nima; as well as various academic and educational figures, researchers, and other participants. The first session concluded with the honoring of several supporting entities and participants, in recognition of their contributions and efforts toward the success of the conference, and in appreciation of their role in fostering scientific research and educational development. / End
