A statement from the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate indicated that Minister of Culture Yassin Al-Aithawi and the President of the Federation of Arab Journalists, Moaid Al-Lami, explored ways to support Iraq in hosting the Federation’s conference—scheduled to take place in Baghdad in the near future—and discussed providing all necessary facilities to ensure the success of the event, which will address the current state of Arab media.
