Istanbul / NINA / - Turkish intelligence announced that 7 militants of the "PKK", Kurdistan Workers' Party were killed in a security operation in Gara region, northern Iraq.
According to a Turkish intelligence source, an intelligence force was able to follow up the leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Azad Yandi, the logistical official of the organization in Gara region in northern Iraq, who was disguised as “Soro Amid”, where he was killed along with six other militants of the PKK within Claw Lock Operations.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on the 18th of last April and is still ongoing, called the Claw Lock, against the strongholds of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the areas of Matina, Zab, Afshin and Bazian in northern Iraq./End
