Kirkuk / NINA / - A security source in Kirkuk governorate announced that an unidentified body was found near Barzan village in Qara Hanjir district, north of the governorate.
The source said that a force from Qara Hanjir police station found a body near Goran bridge in the village of Barzan, which belongs to Qara Hanjir district (40 km northeast of Kirkuk). The corpse was wearing a civilian dress, and the body was transferred to the forensic medicine unit in Kirkuk.
In a related security context, the source confirmed that an Iraqi army officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel wounded a member of the Regional Guard, who lives in the Legion neighborhood, called (M, W, R) in his left hand, and wounded a second person, called (A, A, Sh) in the left leg with a pistol-type weapon in a quarrel that took place near the municipal building due to previous disputes between them./End
