Istanbul (NINA) - The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that the death toll of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in its operations "Claw Lock" in northern Iraq has risen to 95 persons.
The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement today, Sunday, that 10 members of the "PKK" terrorist organization were killed in the “Claw Lock” operations area in northern Iraq today, bringing the death toll of the PKK since the start of operations on the 18th of last month to 95 people.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on the 18th of last April and is still ongoing, which it called the “Claw Lock” against the strongholds of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the areas of Matina, Zab and Afshin Bazian in northern Iraq./End
