Baghdad / NINA /-The leader of the National Shiite Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, affirmed on Monday that his movement will proceed with boycotting the upcoming elections, stressing that the threats made by rivals will not deter him or his supporters from adhering to their position.
In a post on the platform (X), al-Sadr stated that his movement "will not bow to any threats" and will remain committed to his directives and authority, noting that the election results will expose the extent of conflicts among the participating forces.
Al-Sadr also called on political parties to avoid "nonsense" and focus instead on addressing the real crises facing Iraq. /End
