وبحث اللقاء بحسب بيان العزم تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الآراء حول القضايا السياسية والأمنية الراهنة، كما تمحورت المناقشات حول ضرورة تعزيز الاستقرار السياسي والتحديات التي تواجه العملية السياسية وضرورة المضي قدما في انتخاب رئيس مجلس النواب وفق الاتفاقات والأعراف السياسية.

كما ركز اللقاء على أهمية توحيد الجهود وتعزيز التعاون بين الجهات السياسية كافة لدعم جهود الحكومة في تنفيذ برنامجها الحكومي خدمة لمصالح العراقيين./انتهى9
