الدنمارك تعلن اغلاق سفارتها في العراق الشهر المقبل

بغداد / نينا/ اعلنت الدنمارك ، انها ستغلق سفارتها في العراق في 31 مايو / ايار المقبل .

واوضحت في بيان انه :" مع سحب غالبية المساهمة العسكرية الدنماركية، تكون المهمة الرئيسية للسفارة الدنماركية في بغداد بالعراق قد اكتملت، لذلك قررت الحكومة اغلاق السفارة إعتبارا من 31 مايو 2024".

وافتتحت الدنمارك بعثتها الدبلوماسية في بغداد رسميا في عام 2020 لدعم القيادة العسكرية الدنماركية المساهمة في مهمة حلف شمال الاطلسي في العراق.

ومنذ ذلك الحين سحبت كوبنهاغن غالبية جنودها من العراق.

والدنمارك عضو في التحالف الدولي ضد "داعش" منذ يوليو 2014 وكان لديها 300 جندي ومستشار عسكري في العراق وسوريا./انتهى9
