Protesters block streets in Hilla, with burning tires
Hilla / NINA / - Demonstrators cut off today, Thursday evening the streets leading to the governorate building by burning tires, demanding the dismissal of the Acting Governor Hassan Mandil and the dismissal of the Director General of Babylon Health Directorate, Dr. Mohammed al-Ja'ifari.
Protester Sajjad Kadhim said that the demonstrators declared their total rejection of promises to dismiss the Acting Governor of Babylon, Hassan Mandil, and the Director of Health, Dr. Mohammed al-Ja`ifari.
He added that the governorate suffers from a significant decline in services, a decline in infrastructure, and an increase in the death rate in Corona virus, indicating that there will be no retreat from the demonstrations./ End
