Ministry of Transport: Three trains depart to transport sports fans from Baghdad to Basra
Baghdad / NINA / -The General Company for Iraqi Railways operated three trains from Baghdad Central Station to Basra Train Station and vice versa, passing through the central and southern regions, Hilla, Diwaniyah, Samawah and Nasiriyah.
The company's general manager, Jabbar Aliwi Al-Jubouri, explained in a statement: "Based on the directives of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, and to support the Iraqi national team that meets its Jordanian counterpart at the Palm Trunk Stadium today, 3 modern DMU trains departed from Baghdad Central Station towards Basra."
He added: "The first train departed at 7:00 pm yesterday, the second at 9:00 pm and the third at 10:00 pm, stressing: "The return of the trains will be today, Thursday evening, after the end of the match." / End
