Baghdad / NINA / - A security source in Dhi Qar revealed that a girl committed suicide by hanging inside her house in Al-Rifai district, north of the governorate, and the death of a child with a landmine and the explosion of a mortar shell west of Nasiriyah.
The source told Nasiriyah News Network: "the security services received a report of the suicide of a 16-year-old girl, a school student, inside her home in Al-Rifai district.
The source added: "The girl committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope without knowing the reasons, and that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine department in Nasiriyah and opened an investigation into the accident."
A security source in Dhi Qar announced the death of a ten-year-old child as a result of a landmine explosion from previous wars in the Badia of Nasiriyah, while a mortar exploded in a village in the Bateha district, west of Nasiriyah./ End
