Baquba / NINA / - Two sheikhs of Al-Joraniya tribes escaped from an assassination attempt on the border between Diyala and Baghdad.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that two sheikhs of Al-Joraniya tribe survived an assassination attempt after their vehicle was shot at by unknown persons on the tourist road south of Diyala.
He added that the accident resulted in the injury of one of the escorts, while the security services opened an investigation into the accident./End
