Baquba / NINA / - A Popular Mobilization Forces foiled an attempt to target the transmission towers north of Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today that elements of ISIS tried to approach the transmission towers to detonate them in Al-Safra area, north of Al-Adhaim, north of Baqubah, and a force of the Popular Mobilization Forces confronted them, and with the support of the people, one of the terrorists was injured.
He added that the process of foiling the targeting of electric power towers is the second in the past 24 hours. / End
