Basra / NINA /- The Iraqi Drilling Company signed today, a contract with the Waterford Oil Services Company to support the drilling of twenty wells in Nasiriyah field, which was concluded with the Dhi Qar Oil Company in turnkey method.
The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Basim Mohamed Khodeir, said, according to a company statement, "The two companies should work as one team in order to implement the contract and the best performance.
He continued the contract will be conducted by four towers from the fleet of the Iraqi Drilling Company.
He added that there are great efforts from the leadership and technical cadres in the company in completing the contract documents after a series of long negotiations with the secondary contractor of the Waterford Company, especially in the current circumstance because of the Coronavirus pandemic./ End
