Baghdad / NINA /-The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the launch of Operation (Eagle Claw) in Iraq, which resulted in the destruction of 81 PKK sites.
"This operation is the largest against the PKK in northern Iraq," the ministry said in a statement, noting that "Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar supervised the management and leadership of the operation at the Air Force Command Operations Center."
The statement added that "Turkish aircraft targeted the sites of the PKKA organization in the north of Iraq, as part of the operation;" noting that "Turkish aircrafts destroyed 81 targets of the PKK since the operation began at dawn today." / End
