Mosul, (NINA) -Nineveh Operations Command announced the start of a military operation south of Mosul.
Major General Nouman al-Zobaie told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "Iraqi army formations in the 16th division and the tribal mobilization forces launched a military operation to hunt ISIS remnants in the desert island west of al-Shoura district south of Mosul, killing nine members of ISIS, arresting four others and finding various weapons and materiel." / End
