"A girl was killed and two others were wounded when a roadside bomb exploded near the cemetery of al-Qudis (Jerusalem) neighborhood on the left side of the city," a security source said in a press statement.
"The children were playing when an explosive device from the remnants of the war exploded on them," he added.
He said that Daesh militants had planted mines in the vicinity of the cemetery to block the progress of Iraqi forces during the battle to expel them from the city in 2017, pointing out that the mines have not been lifted so far./ End
