Al-Burhan announces general mobilization and affirms: The end of the battle will be in Darfur
Baghdad / NINA / -Sudanese Army Chief of Staff, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, announced a general mobilization on Friday during a visit to Gezira State, asserting that the war will not end until the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are completely eliminated.
Addressing soldiers and civilians, al-Burhan emphasized the continuation of the fight until the RSF is "retributed," affirming that there will be no truce or negotiations with them.
He clarified that any future negotiations are contingent upon the RSF being gathered in a single location and surrendering their weapons, suggesting that the battle in Darfur is likely to end there.
Al-Burhan called upon all able-bodied citizens to join the war effort, saying, "Whoever can bear arms should come forward." /End
