Baghdad / NINA /- Report by Shafiq alUbaidi....Qatar will host an extraordinary Arab–Islamic summit today Monday to discuss the repercussions of the Israeli strike that targeted Hamas leaders in Doha, in a move aimed at expressing solidarity with Qatar and rejecting the attack.

‏According to the agenda, leaders will review a draft final statement prepared during Sunday’s ministerial preparatory meeting, which is expected to reflect a united Arab and Islamic stance against the aggression, moving beyond the usual condemnations. The Arab and Islamic public is also awaiting the options leaders will put forward at the summit.

‏The summit underscores the broad international solidarity with Qatar, as most countries, excluding the United States, condemned the Israeli raids, describing them as a blatant violation of sovereignty and a grave breach of international law and norms, amounting to “state terrorism.”
