Istanbul / NINA / - The Turkish Defense Ministry announced the killing of /11/ militants from the /banned/ Kurdistan Workers' Party in airstrikes carried out by Turkish warplanes in northern Iraq.
The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement today, Saturday, that the Turkish army units present in the areas of /Kara, Metina and Hakurk/ northern Iraq and operating within /Claw Lock/ operations monitored gatherings of Kurdistan Workers' Party militants in those mountainous areas, so they used warplanes, which launched a series of airstrikes that resulted in the killing of /11/ militants from the organization and the escape of others from those areas./ End
