Baqubah / NINA / -Diyala Police Command denied the news circulating about the explosion of an explosive device in one of the orchards near Baqubah District, the center of the province.
The official spokesman for Diyala Police Command, Brigadier General Haitham Salman Al-Shammari, said in a statement: "The explosion was caused by a citizen cleaning one of the small tributaries with fire, and a 23 mm bullet from old war remnants exploded and its shrapnel slightly injured the citizen in his thigh, and his health condition is stable."
He added: "Legal measures were taken in the incident by Othmaniyah Police Department." / End
