The Turkish Intelligence Service stated in a media circular today, Friday, that it was following the movements of the two leaders of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, Bahar Akyol, nicknamed "Farshin Gabar", and Nour Bahar Kara Dagli, nicknamed "Tigda Cyan", as they were preparing for an armed operation against the Turkish forces stationed in northern Iraq.
The Turkish Intelligence Service indicated that one of its units was able to reach the location of the two leaders and kill them in Hakurk region in northern Iraq.
The Turkish Intelligence Service explained that the leader Akyol joined the terrorist organization in 2015, and received weapons training in the organization's camps in northern Iraq, while the leader Kara Dagli joined the terrorist organization in 2014, and moved to Hakurk in 2023 to receive training on carrying out terrorist attacks.
It indicated that the Kurdistan Workers' Party "PKK" is based in Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq, and is active in many cities, regions and valleys, and launches attacks inside Turkish territories from there, and that the Turkish army is working hard to dry up the sources of terrorism./End
