Istanbul (NINA) - Turkish Intelligence announced the killing of a leader in the Kurdistan Workers' Party in a security operation carried out in northern Iraq.
Turkish Intelligence stated in a media circular on Monday that the leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, Gulsun Silger, was responsible for the youth wing of the organization in the city of Sulaymaniyah, and her activities were being monitored by Turkish intelligence.
Turkish intelligence indicated in its media circular that Silger joined the Workers’ Party organization in 2011 and her mission was to recruit young people to join the Workers’ Party organization in the countryside of the city of Sulaymaniyah.
Turkish intelligence stated that they were able to follow her and kill her in the countryside of the city of Sulaymaniyah./End
