Baghdad / NINA / - A force from the 88th Brigade of the Kirkuk and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by ISIS terrorists in Saladin Governorate.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces stated, “A force from the Second Regiment responded to an ISIS attack by monitoring them with thermal cameras in the Wadi al-Sada area, where they treated them with heavy and medium weapons, and they fled toward the orchards near the valley. The forces began conducting security sweeping operations to search for and pursue fleeing ISIS members.”/ End
