Turkish intelligence stated in a media circular today that Gulsume Dogan, a leader in the Kurdistan Workers' Party, was responsible for collecting royalties and recruiting female members for the organization in Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq.
It indicated in its circular that Dogan, who was hiding under the name “Jian Mardin,” is responsible for many armed actions against the Turkish security forces and is accused of recruiting children for the organization, and that the assassination operation took place in the city of Sulaymaniyah by a Turkish intelligence force./End
