Baghdad / NINA /- The security forces killed 3 terrorists within Samarra operations sector, and thwarted an attempt to attack the Federal Police points.
The Security Media Cell stated in a statement, "The security sectors within the Samarra Operations Command sector were able to thwart an attempt to attack one of the Federal Police points in Al-Mu'tasim district, as an operation was launched to search the area near this incident, which led to the death of one of the officers who supported and strengthened the point." Our heroic security forces were able to kill 3 terrorists, one of whom was a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt, and seized their weapons and night vision goggles, and search operations are still continuing within this sector.
The statement added, "The security work, which is based on professionalism and speed in performance, will have fruitful results. Our heroic units will not allow the elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs to move, and they will be on the lookout."/ End
