"Iraq is committed to complying with oil production cuts under the OPEC-led agreement to reduce supplies," Ghadhban told reporters in Abu Dhabi at the World Energy Summit in the UAE capital from Monday to Thursday.
He explained that "Iraq's exports fell by at least 150 thousand barrels per day from the south."
"It is premature to talk about whether there is a need to deepen production cuts within the framework of the agreement between OPEC and its allies," Ghadhban added.
Major producers of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on Monday expressed their commitment to the agreement to reduce crude oil production, aimed at restoring stability to world markets.
OPEC members and independent producers led by Russia began in early 2019, the implementation of an agreement to reduce crude production by 1.2 million barrels per day, which expires in March 2020.
