Brigadier-General Kadhim Abdullah, Director of Halabja Police, said that the demonstrations continued until late last night, as the protesters threw stones at the Qaimaqamiya building, the court, the headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the 12th branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and also set fire to the Traffic Department and part of the municipality, noting that three were wounded.
Meanwhile, demonstrators in Kalar district attacked the Qaimaqamiya building and set it on fire, and the security forces fired live bullets to disperse the demonstrators, wounding a number of them./ End
