BAGHDAD (NINA) - The Popular Mobilization (al-Hashd al-Shaabi) affirmed its support for the demonstrators and their rightful demands and national slogans.
On Friday, the popular mobilization sent a message to demonstrators in Baghdad and the provinces, saying: "When we were needed by the homeland and our rational authority, we were the first to respond and we were the first to stand on the fronts of Pride and Dignity ."
It continued: "Here we stand, we stand with you one stop, demanding your rights and support your legitimate demands and be with you as one row and stand like the building blocks to achieve them."
We are with you and support your rightful demands and national slogans and are ready to sacrifice our lives for you and for the homeland.
The popular mobilization concluded, "our covenant to our religious authority is to commit with full and strict adherence to all its directives and to remain the safety valve for this people."/ End
