BAGHDAD / NINA /- Iraq's Ambassador to the Netherlands Hisham Al-Alawi signed a framework agreement for diplomatic cooperation between the Iraqi Foreign Service Institute and the Dutch Institute of International Relations (Clingendael).

"The agreement included enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the areas of training, diplomatic skills development, capacity building, and exchange of information and experience on diplomatic education and training programs, seminars and other academic training activities for each of them," a Foreign Ministry statement said.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim, and the signing of this agreement was at the end of his visit to the Netherlands, which comes within the framework of strengthening relations between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that Clingendael Institute of the international institutes is sober high-rated, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and has previously organized many training courses for employees of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2005, where the number of participants, 122 employees, the most recent course for 15 diplomatic staff of the senior staff of the ministry last year.
