The protester student Hussein Mohammed said that all students in his junior high school and students in the province participated in the civil sit-in called for by the coordination across the province, pointing out that their demands are to get good education opportunities and an educational environment that allows them a better future.
On the other hand, the Deputy of the Teachers' Union in Babylon Thaer Wahid said that the union will go ahead with the civil sit-in for four days and that it will respond strongly to any attempt to pressure or threaten students or teaching staff, pointing out that the sit-ins will continue until the implementation of demands./ End
